The Kilmore Art Society was established in 1988 and has its home in a historical building in Kilmore, the oldest inland town in Victoria.
Kilmore Art Society Inc. is a not for profit organisation. Our mission is to foster and develop the spirit of professional and hobby artists in reaching their goals in all forms of art. To educate and enrich present and future generations on the importance of art exhibitions, selling of artworks and charitable connections within the Kilmore community. The Society work cooperatively and positively with other groups and institutions in the community.
Last November the Art Society supported a Wellbeing Workshop for local teens run by Andrea Lewis. The aim of the workshop was to provide young people with the opportunity and space to connect with peers, express themselves and explore ways in which art and nature can aid in mindfulness and positive wellbeing.
